A presence before an explanation

- Front-heavy and low to the ground, with a wide face and planted limbs beneath a domed, honeycombed back. The vertical crest interrupts the otherwise squat silhouette, creating a striking contrast between grounded mass and upright sign-like ornament.
- Scale
- Reads as compact but substantial: not towering, yet too broad and weighty to feel small. The head is oversized in expressive importance, with forelimbs nearly equal partners in the front view, while the crest adds height without making the whole body lanky.

- Dry leathery skin with heat-darkened folds around the eyes, a hornier rust-toned crest, and a back of thick sun-cured scutes with dusty edges and olive mineral tinting in cracks.
