PUBLIC CHARACTER RECORD

What is known

Brindle is a compact, porklike station-district regular with a broad wrinkled brow, outsized rectangular eyes, a blunt split snout, and a stacked, soft-looking body carried on tiny splayed feet. At first glance they read as glum or severe, but in ordinary life they work as a platform snack-runner and stall minder in Gristlewick’s station district, quietly ferrying parcels, cups, and gossip between vendors until the right company cracks them open into a bright, wheezing laugh that turns heads for all the right reasons.

ORDINARY LIFE HERE

Platform snack-runner and stall minder who carries orders, keeps an eye on unattended counters, and shuttles small goods between station vendors.

The station district suits a small, watchful, socially selective creature who can be useful without needing to dominate a room. A normal day there would involve collecting orders from one stall, waddling them to porters, clerks, or passengers, minding a counter while someone steps away, and slowly warming into banter with the people who see them every day. It gives them repeated contact, practical purpose, and the kind of familiar social circle that could coax out that huge laugh.

WORLD EFFECTTheir presence makes the station feel less anonymous. Vendors start relying on them as a living link between kiosks, and their eventual laughter becomes one of those district sounds that tells regulars the day is going well.

Proposed recurring work contact for directions, handoffs and small traveler problems; emotional closeness is not asserted.

PUBLIC INCIDENT · Gristlewick Central Station

The Traveler Who Asked the Wrong Desk and Still Arrived

A traveler reached the correct station counter through an informal chain of resident assistance. No authorised route was followed, no official instruction was contradicted, and the traveler nevertheless arrived. An inquiry into this irregular success may be inevitable.

PHYSICAL RECORD

A presence before an explanation

Silhouette
Top-heavy and compact: a broad head with high ears, a shelf-like brow, big cheek mass, then a narrowing stacked torso that drops into very small feet. The overall read is like a plushy block of folds balanced on little trotters.
Scale
Small to knee-high on an adult human, with an intentionally exaggerated head and face relative to the body. The eyes are unusually large, the snout short, and the feet undersized compared with the weight implied by the upper body.
Material
Smooth piglike skin with soft velvety nap across the brow and cheeks, slightly darker thin skin around the nostrils and inner ears, and lively mottling or patch transitions across the folds. Any carried vendor cloth or strap could be faded but brightly dyed.
Colour
#F25D9C, #FF8C42, #F7D154, #38BFA7, #6A4C93
